Books To Unleash Your Wild woman
There is a great need for women to regain personal power in this day and age. Women are tired of being pushed into a corner, treated like property, and being told how to act, look like or behave. Fortunately, women are taking back their personal power. Women are fighting back and speaking up for themselves all around the world. But I would argue that no one fights harder than the spiritual community who’ve know the beauty and power of feminine energy for millennia.
That’s why I’m sharing my favorite spiritual, female empowerment books. These books are the ones I grab when I need to re-familiarize myself with my inner wild woman who has no boundaries. I’ve read each one, time and time again, yet every time has a since of coming home. These books are must reads for any woman, no matter her spiritual orientation but especially for healers, witches, mystics, and other walkers of the energy wise. Enjoy!
Woman Most Wild
I was completely surprised by the richness of this book. Each page left me feeling more empowered than the next and I found it to other a deep understanding of many witchy topics that so many of us magical folk need right now. This is a great book if you are looking to work with the moon, the seasons, the chakras, and all manner of rituals based deep in feminine wisdom.
The Holy Wild
This is the follow up to Woman Most Wild and is equally impressive. It too features a wide variety of information, rituals, and inspiration for accessing your feminine magic. The book is arranged by element which truly speaks to my heart and is crafted in a way that empowers you to find and develop your own spiritual rules. Like the first book, there is a lot of emphasis on the maiden-mother-crone but in a way that feels fresh and updated. This book together with Woman Most Wild are in my opinion, the updated version of Women Who Run With The Wolves.
Women Who Run With The Wolves
Which brings me to Women Who Run With Wolves because you cannot talk about female empowerment without that book. It’s an older book, I think about 20 or 30 years old now but it still rings true today. Perhaps it’s even more relevant now then it was when it came out. This book invites women and men to explore feminine energy in the way it should be enjoyed: unleashed. This book is thought-provoking and will challenge everything you thought you knew about being a woman.
This book literally appeared for me when I was taking the first steps towards working with my divine feminine energy. There is a particular focus on tending to the sacred bowl, or the womb. I loved the exercises featured in this book and how the author explains the need to work on your bowl each and every day. By tending your sacred bowl, woman are able to find their source of strength, passion, and healing.
