Month of Mindfulness : Perspective
To be mindful simply means to be aware of something and mindfulness is something that is so important to me. It's the beginning of change. Becoming conscious of a bad habit or of something that's holding you back can make a world of difference. It gives you a starting place to work from without feeling like you have to change all at once.
Mindfulness is also the beginning of creating peace, connection, stillness, and tranquility. Noticing your environment without the need to change it is incredibly healing. It allows you to let go of judgment but also to let go of anxiety and stress. Accepting what it is and being at peace with that stops you from being a victim. Mindfulness then provides a clear picture of what you have and often we find we're looking for was right in front of us all along.
I'm creating Month of Mindfulness to help to find those moments of inner peace which is the beginning of any energetic practice. You cannot truly develop your true self, your higher self until you are able to separate from all other influences. Each month, we will focus on a new intention which will be the theme for all blog posts for that month. You'll have a chance to isolate a particular energy to get to know it and to have time to incorporate it into your life.
This month's theme is perspective because a shift in the way you see things can be quite profound and healing. I hope you enjoy Month of Mindfulness.
